Bee wax is made from 100% natural beeswax.
In its manufacture, the wax is decontaminated by heating it to a temperature of 120 degrees. It is then left to stand for 10-12 hours at this temperature. This process kills all pathogenic bacteria in the wax, which may have a negative impact on the health of bees.
Wax made on professional factory equipment is of higher quality than that made at home, as the wax goes through all the necessary technological process, which is very difficult to do at home.
When using the honeycomb, it needs to be warmed up a bit to make it malleable (if you store it in a cold place). Warmed wax will not crumble when you work with it and you will be most comfortable working with prepared wax.
The smell of the wax should be a pleasant honeyed smell.
The colour can vary from yellow to brown, depending on the wax the wax was produced from.
